Ocqueoc falls is the only named fall in Michigan's lower Peninsula and is more like a rapids since it's only about 8 feet high. You really have to go about 25 miles out of your way to get to this falls when you go east to Onaway on road M-68 from I-75. Once you reach Ocqueoc road, go north until you see Ocqueoc Falls Hwy and turn right . October 2006, MAX7.
The upper part of Ocqueoc falls that I saw a Salmon finally jump over. It would have been nice if there was a bear trying to catch it and I got that perfect shot !
